Save your project, open its publishing screen, and publish a snapshot. Anyone with the link can see it, without signing in. Your drafts and edit history remain private.
Update the live site by publishing again. Unpublish whenever you want to remove the public link.
Bring your own domain
Export a self-contained index.html with your content, design, and page navigation. Upload it to a static host, connect your domain there, and apply the DNS records from that provider.
Save the domain and track setup in your project. External hosting, domain registration, DNS, and SSL are managed outside Website Studio.
A few good things to know
Will edits immediately change my live website?
No. AI revisions and manual edits update your draft. Save your changes, then publish again when you are ready.
Can I use the share link as a DNS target?
No. The public website uses an app URL with a hash route. A custom domain needs a separate static deployment. Use only the DNS values supplied by your hosting provider.
What is included in the exported website?
A single HTML file containing responsive layouts, the complete page content, styling, and working page navigation. It does not include a backend, checkout, or form submission service.
How do I update my externally hosted website?
Export the latest saved version and redeploy index.html with your host. Publishing or unpublishing the app share link does not change external hosting.
Are my projects private?
Projects, prompts, saved drafts, and domain settings are saved in your account’s private built-in key-value store. Only the website snapshot you explicitly publish is made public.
